Font baseline shift

Is there a way to modify the vertical-alignment of the font itself? On my Mac all the fonts are shifted down a few pixels. This looks buggy...

@sebaldundsoehne what version and browser are you using? Do you have a fiddle that reproduces?

I use Chrome 53.0.2785.116. I tried FF and Safari – same.

No, I don´t have a fiddle. It would take quite a long time to create one. But I guess, it´s a client-side rendering problem. The examples delivered with the .zip package also have slightly shifted fonts, but the problem seems to be more noticeable with custom webfonts.

I tried on (virtual) Windows Chrome. Same. Is there a way to send you a private message? Then I could send you the URL of the dummy I am working on...

Yes, I guess. I have version 2.3.0 running. It´s not yet fixed in this release, is it?

Fixed the offset in the tooltips with the titleSpacing option. But the fonts in the legend still don´t align with the baseline... A global setting for the vertical shift of the font would be great. Something like vertical-align in CSS.

It's not fixed in v2.3.0. We'll need to do some investigation on the legend issue

I have a similar issue, I can't find a way to properly align my chart legends. I'm using Chrome on Mac.

The alignment of legend items was fixed in #4318. The alignment of tooltip items is under way in #6292.
