Ticks have configurable padding. For y axis this padding is used to determine space between tick label and main grid line. Why is this logic not applied also in case of x axis?

This will be accomplished by simple addition here and subtraction here.

@GabrielMancik to be perfectly honest I'm not sure why it only applies to the vertical case. I'm happy to look at a PR fixing that.
