Intro

Not sure where else to put this, but since you are the maintainer of excalidraw.app, I figured I'd come straight to you. The issue presented here is not present on excalidraw.com, but it is present in excalidraw.app (hence I am coming to you and not the maintainers of the open source repo).

The Issue

When using the free draw tool within excalidraw.app: clicking, followed by dragging the mouse does not always produce a line as expected. Often, it will just place a dot and not continue the line. However, if one begins to drag the mouse first, and then clicks mid-way through, then a line is drawn.

Environment

Using Safari v15.6.1 on MacOS v12.5.1 (Moneterey) with excalidraw.app, connected to my Google Drive.

Conclusion

Again, I am not sure if this is the right place for submitting this issue, but I haven't been able to find anywhere else, and I know you are the maintainer of excalidraw.app. I am not even sure if this bug is within your ability to fix on your end, but I am hoping it is.
