  • cTouch can be used free-of-charge.

  • In Derivative Works (in GPL term) of cTouch, cTouch is licensed under 2-clause BSDL, or Creative Commons CC0 (aka Public Domain) along with Commons Clause.

  • In this way I can moniter clones of cTouch and warn them.

  • I believe using cTouch in research purpose will not force BSDL.

  • Also, I sometimes see paid fee-charging articles about cTouch. I believe those are illegal.
