I have a command line interface with multiple subcommands. A lot of the subcommands takes a common parameter,
host
.Currently I can use the following to achieve that:
However, I would like to have the common
host
parameter moved outside ofB
,C
andD
, so that some common code forB
,C
andD
can connect to the host, before the specific implementation forB
,C
andD
is run.I can use something like:
However, now instead of writing
b 1.1.1.1
, I need to writecommand-with-host 1.1.1.1 b
.I don't really care about the order of the host and
b
, but I would like to get rid ofcommand-with-host
. Is this possible?Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
