I would like to be able to convert from US and United Kingdom english to Canadian english. What is needed to be able to add a -locale CA to misspell?

I'm willing to do some heavy lifting to see this happen. I don't know anything about Go but I do have familiarity with python, and presumably the real work is in the word pair data files which likely don't have too much programming language specific requirements anyway. words.go looks like just such a pair list however the header says it's automatically generated and shouldn't be edited. It neglects to mention where it's generated from, so that's my first question. What makes this word list?

Resources I would draw on:

(On a related note, currently running misspell -locale CA emits "Help wanted. #6" (which is pretty neat BTW, I like that) but #6 is only about US <--> UK corrections.)
