Emacs configuration for showing core function signatures and/or documentation

I have a mostly working version of clojure-lsp running on my Emacs 28.2 install on an Apple silicon (M1) Mac, Ventura 13.2.1. Things are mostly working, but I would like to see function signatures of functions in the clojure.core namespace. I see the signatures for functions that I have defined in the namespace of the current buffer. Those signatures appear in the minibuffer when the point is on the function name in my buffer. If I hover with the mouse I see a pop-up window with not only the function signature but also any documentation on the function. If I try the same thing with a core function (e.g. reduce), the minibuffer shows only the symbol name (no signature). If I hover with the mouse it is a similar result, it shows the symbol and no signature or documentation.

I was hoping someone could tell me 1) is it possible to get signatures and/or documentation of core functions and, if so, 2) what do I need to do to get those signatures and/or documentation to show for those functions.

It turns out this was not actually an issue. My project was a babashka project and when I installed a bb.edn file everything works as expected. Sorry for the noise.
