As part of this bump:

Move to go 1.18. #958

This file got introduced:

https://github.com/cloudevents/sdk-go/blame/main/v2/protocol/http/.protocol.go.swp

This now seems to cause some update issues on Knative eventing:

Bump to latest CloudEvent lib knative/eventing#7697 (comment)

Was protocol.go being edited in vi when the commit was made?
