Add script from cdn and add service worker

I'm trying to add 3rd party script from CDN and a service worker but not sure how to do this. Thought maybe index.html.template would be an option but cannot find that file and npm run compile-html causes an error: ENOENT: no such file or directory, open '/home/me/dev/mc-app/public/index.html.template'

We would like to better understand your use case in order to provide a good answer.
Can you maybe explain a bit more the reasons for you to have this requirement about loading a script from a CDN instead of bundling it with the application code? Also, it would be great to know how would you expect this to work; how have you tried to load it and what problem did you find?
