If you are asking yourself what the Carakan engine is, your not alone. Turns out it's quite difficult to find a good google result.
Carakan was the last js-engine use by the Opera browser before it moved to Blink (Back then still known as the Google fork of WebCore component of Apples WebKit'). This happened back in 2013, yet Opera is still listed under Carakan instead of V8.
So I'd argue the listings that covers Opera over the past 7 years should be painted in V8-green
Side Note:
It turnes out is actually really dificult to find details about some of Operas inner workings. I knew it was Chromium-based, but to find specifics about that from any first hand source (including standard developer recsources) is really tough.
