Deep link to subsection doesn't expand correctly

If one expands any of the top-level groupings (with the ► arrow), and then uses the § symbol to get a deep link to that item, the URL in the browser is generated correctly.

However, copy/paste that link into a new tab and it doesn't work quite right because the resulting page has the group collapsed. It should be expanded to the section containing the link, so that one can actually deep-link to a specific row in the table.
