I noticed that kubernetes issue 93320 relies on a newer grpc, while etcd and containerd still used a old gprc.
And the etcd upgrading is on the go

So want to know whether containerd has any plan to upgrade grpc.

Yes! But we are waiting Kubernetes' gRPC upgrade. Please see #4447 for the detail.
