check documents --merges for changelog

convco check --help documents the --merges option as

      --merges              Include conventional merge commits (commits with more than 1 parent) in the changelog

However, check is the check action, not the changelog action.

Is --merges a valid flag for check? If so, what does it do? (Include merge commits which it does not do by default?)

Confirmed on 0.3.15 and given the linked online docs I assume it is still the case on the most recent v0.5.0.

As documented it checks the merge commits too, otherwise commits with 2 or more parents get skipped.
