What are the 64 files I can't seem to cache?

I'm trying to plumb through coursier from a Docker host to containers. Ideally I'd download everything once and cache from there on.

I'm invoking w/ --cache and that seems to be working, the app I'm launch-ing is only downloaded once as expected.

However, I keep seeing this log and despite my efforts I can't seem to solve it.

My questions are:

1. what is being downloaded?
2. Can I cache it from the docker host?

I have tried installing the JVM via coursier java --setup and that seems to be working but ultimately it's just a JAVA_HOME setting for launch and again, it keeps downloading those files.

A little info may be enough to get me back on track. Thanks a ton for coursier and all your tools, they are amazing!

I have found that it is downloading coursier but not using the (host) --cache I had specified. I will look into how to cache coursier too.

Again it is using the (host) cache for the application 👍

I'm using the java launcher.

I've found coursier in the /root/.cache on the container but I thought it would use the --cache I specified for the application I'm launching.

Looking deeper into this, getting warm though.

I found that by using COURSIER_CACHE environment variable instead of --cache it was able to use both my application cache and coursier's application cache. This solved my problem 👍
