Use case: I want to know which activities have isInside or showLocation set to true/false instead of "TRUE"/"FALSE".

Sure, we could just add another column permanently, but that's not very slick. What would be slick is if there is a hamburger button that shows a popup like this:

And then which ones you select could be saved to your user settings or something, so you don't have to keep applying the same filter each time.

This makes the activity table double as some kind of auditing tool. But this is very, very low priority.
