Bug: Portable mode doesn't save settings #626
Comments
It saves only upon closing, so if you turn off your device without first closing the tray, it won't save the setting. Set it up as it suits you better then close it in the tray and it will save. |
That doesn't work for me. I closed out the program from the tray after setting the opacity and window sizes, and restarted Crow Translate. The pop-up window settings weren't saved. |
I've found that none of my settings changes are saved from session to session. After quitting the program and restarting, everything is back to the default. |
Strange, I can't reproduce it on my Windows 10 machine. |
I just did some re-testing, including re-installing. I found that after a reinstall, only the first time setting is saved. Any settings changes after that didn't work. So the final time after reinstalling, I immediately turned Portable Mode off. Now I can change settings and the settings preserve after restarting the program. So I guess the bug is related to Portable Mode settings. |
Bug description
The program does not save the pop-up window settings under Settings > Interface. I can adjust the opacity and size of the windows and they stay that way until I close the program, but they go back to the default settings when I reopen it.
Steps to reproduce
Expected behavior
Expect crow-translate pop-up window settings to survive across multiple instances
