Silent Composer install not working with patches

Hi,

the patching gets stuck in my setup on composer i. I'm not sure if it's a problem with my patch or a config which I didn't set correctly.

The command composer -vv i gives me a hint what the problem is:

I think your patch is wrong. Your patch is specifically saying that it's creating a new file (--- /dev/null at the top), but the patch itself is modifying an existing file. That's really strange. How did you generate this patch?

Thanks for the hint. I used the tool linked below to generate the patch and will have a look to see if i used it incorrectly.
