BFS Health finance is currently recommend in Germany:

"bfs-health-finance",

As it has been noted in #1534 (comment) you need to either send them a ID or a BFS number. As most people likely don't have the last one, one would need an ID document.

I may try to argue with them based on this blog, especially as they can just send me stuff via (snail)mail and so no one can actually intercept it.

So do you think that should really be in the list of recommend companies? It is really stupid to send them an ID?

Oh but after all, you don't send them the address, so they also cannot send a reply via snailmail, so…?

BTW I replied with my address and they (even) responded via mail and said there is no data saved hehe…

So still, we should maybe provide the address directly in the initial request?

Oh, sorry for the late response.

BTW I replied with my address and they (even) responded via mail and said there is no data saved hehe…

So you didn't need to provide an ID copy or BFS number after all? That would be great and I agree, we should definitely add the address as an optional required-element (sigh :D) then.
