Note that I just forked a branch that may remove this requirement. (I'm coming to the realization it's probably better as functions rather than syntax, the more I express it in syntax...it's just too terse, and JS isn't Haskell or Perl.)

This branch will come with a rough polyfill, and I plan to ask for some TC39 feedback before actually merging it.
