Deploying a template does not work

Describe the bug

If you try to deploy one of the canned example templates at https://decapcms.org/docs/start-with-a-template/, the deploy in netlify will fail.

To Reproduce

1. Go to https://decapcms.org/docs/start-with-a-template/
2. Click on the "Deploy to Netlify" button under the "Next.js Blog Template" item
3. Connect to either GitHub or GitLab (fails identically either way)
4. The repo is cloned to your github or gitlab account
   • In my case, this was the result: https://gitlab.com/chadlavimoniere/20240513-nextjs-netlify-blog-template
   • note that that repo is completely blank. I don't think that should be the case?
5. you are redirected to netlify and the deployment of the template starts
6. The build step will error out
