Visual editor toggles have no effect

Describe the bug

The toggles (eg "Show Name") have no effect unless the option is first added via the code editor.

Steps to reproduce

1. From a fresh install, toggle "Show Name" -> Nothing happens
2. Click on 'SHOW CODE EDITOR'
3. Add "show_name: true" to config
4. Click on 'SHOW VISUAL EDITOR'
5. Toggling "Show Name" now updates the card appropriately

This is the same for the other options.

Expected behavior
The toggles should work without manually adding the options to the configuration.
