How to exclude a package when using the compiler plugin?

I could not figure out how to exclude packages when using the compiler plugin. Is this currently possible?

It's important for generated sources.

🤔 I'm not sure if that's doable right now. . You can exclude by path but we don't have any way to suppress a rule by package.

But I think that it would make a great suppressor. Can you create an issue with this? And, do you want to give it a try?

What does not work, for example, is

formatting:

  excludes: [ '**/generated-src/**' ]
  NoConsecutiveBlankLines:

Yes correct. If that doesn't work then it's most likely a bug with Detekt
