I believe this issue is a issue with KtLint. To investigate further I invite you to try to run KtLint (either standalone or the Gradle plugin) on your file, with If it's crashing as well, then this is a bug in KtLint and should be reported there: |
I've tried to run the problematic snippet using ktlint-gradle plugin by JLLeitschuh and there was no problem, it fixed this line of code, then I tried doing it again with detekt and build failed with an exception:( |

Expected Behavior
Successful run of detekt task when I'm setting autoCorrect value to true
Observed Behavior
When I tried to run detekt task with autoCorrect value set to true(when it was false, there was no problem), build failed with an exception. Stacktrace:
