Problem to be solved
When provisioning an AWS server using Devopness, user can only choose Ubuntu as their operating system to be used in the server, not allowing users to provision servers using Amazon Linux:
Why does this matter?
Amazon Linux 2023 was released last year and has active support from AWS until at least 2027: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/linux/al2023/ug/release-cadence.html
According to Amazon Linux 2023 product page, this OS version brings security and performance improvements, that Devopness users could be able to benefit from, without the need of provisioning servers directly on AWS console, as that way users would lose all the benefits of managing cloud servers using Devopness:
