It would be highly beneficial to have the capability to track not just any alteration, but specifically when a price shift exceeds a certain percentage or when it drops below a particular value, similar to the features offered by CamelCamelCamel.
This is not only valuable because it enables alerts only when a product falls within my budget range, but it also serves to minimize receiving unnecessary notifications. For instance, I'm tracking a software's price page that often alters by approximately +-$0.01, which results in frequent, irrelevant alerts.

yeah be cool to position ourselves as a self-hosted CamelCamelCamel alternative.
Amazon doesnt appear to have any embedded machine-readable (LD JSON etc) price/stock information, so I suspect that CamelCamelCamel are using the amazon API to get the prices and so have very specific amazon code
