there are nearly 90 reported vulnerabilities in the
examples/directory and although these are not directly used by the project, when forking to create PRs the vulnerabilities show up on the project by GitHub (ref https://github.com/clowdhaus/serverless-offline/network/alerts).the example lock files have been removed as this seems unnecessary; the lockfiles under the
example/directory have been added to.gitignore
