Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
In other modeling software (SAP AMC Designer, Oracle Data Modeler, DbVisualizer...etc.), the links between tables are much thiner, and I think this is a good thing, because it takes up less space and makes it easier to arrange the tables.
