Hello, I tried going back from the widget list to default layout and it did not work. I sent a video through the provided link. |
Hey @Padreco-lbr |

How can i upgrade to 5.8.0-a2? |
No, I haven't so far.
Will try that, thanks. |

On this version the fpv shows on Samsung A23 but stopped working on Samsung s10e, where version 5.7.0 was previously working. In Samsung s10e, both widget's list and default layout are showing a black screen. Furthermore, it keeps triggering LeakCanary analysis. |
Agent comment from yating.liao in Zendesk ticket #94004: I think the black screen issue you initially encountered may be related to the decoder's status. The new Multi-Video Decoding in version 5.8.0-a2 uses a new decoding and rendering method, which is more stable, but it has not been applied to FPVwidget yet. °°° |

Just checkout the related tag on your local git clone.
I tried it out, on Samsung A23 version 5.8.0-a2 works fine, but it doesn't on Samsung S10e, no error is shown though, just a black screen: 14:41:27.292 LeakCanary D Watching instance of androidx.constraintlayout.widget.ConstraintLayout (dji.sampleV5.modulecommon.pages.MainFragment received Fragment#onDestroyView() callback (references to its views should be cleared to prevent leaks)) with key bfdc6d0b-2134-40e3-9666-2016162494f7 |
Agent comment from yating.liao in Zendesk ticket #94004: Regarding the crash logs you provided us, they all seem to be related to rendering issues causing the crashes. How did you encounter this crash? On which page did it occur? °°° |

I did that and the output is the one provided here:
Unhappily I won't be able to keep making videos, the results are very similar to the video posted on this link, except now all widgets show a black screen (widget lists, default layout and testing tools multi-decoder) |
I have been testing version 5.8.0-a2 and it seems like the FPV crash is gone, but the FPV black screen on some devices, in my case Samsung S10e, is still happening. |
please give the 5.8.0 version a try. |
The FPV Widget is showing a black screen on the Sample's 'Default Layout' with Mini 3 Pro. I am currently getting the following error during what seems to be VideoDecoder initialization:
MediaCodec E Codec reported err 0xffffffea/BAD_VALUE, actionCode 0, while in state 3/CONFIGURING
followed by
MediaCodec E configure failed with err 0xffffffea, resetting..
and eventually
DJIV5/co_c@16d9d09 E (co_a:28) initVideoDecoder() start failed, do it again java.lang.IllegalArgumentException
But the codec never really gests initialized as the message says.
It does not happen when using the Widget List's FPV Widget., I couldn't find out why.
Device: Samsung A23, Android 13, MSDK 5.7.0, also happened with 5.6.0.
