After loading srtm data map 3d elevations looks good. Then I save and reopen the file and image is flat. modifiers are in place but strength has no effect on elevation. Files I made the day before work fine today. I can see 3d and modifier strength changes elevation.
How to Reproduce
Reporduces exactly the same way every time I open a new file.
If I apply DEM modifiers, then I can save the file, close it, reopen and the mesh has been saved. I can manipulate it with scale. I used BlenderGIS for several weeks with no problem... all of a sudden a few days ago, saving the file caused loss of DEM data (I think). Something wrong with Python binding and I don't know enough to fix it. Is my blender corrupted for some reason? I have removed BlenderGIS and reinstalled it... same problem.
Blender and OS versions
Blender 3.2.2, windows 10, 64 bit
