New Tab Page should follow system theme (Ie. Dark when in dark mode etc)

New Tab page should follow theme. Dark/Light. New tab page hella bright with DDG privacy extension ...

Can be done manually by enabling the Chrome Flag - Auto dark mode for web contents, but rather laborious doing this twice a day when system automatically changes from dark/light ..
Other Chrome:// pages follow the system theme properly so i assume it can be done on the DDG new tab page??

Critical feature that should be added if it can be; new tabs are bright as the sun, at night

Thanks for reporting this. I can't reproduce the issue. For me the new tab page is dark when my OS is in dark mode (on mac. What OS are you having the issue on?
