Advanced destination options lost when editing a job in the web UI

Environment info

• Duplicati version: 2.0.6.3_beta_2021-06-17
• Operating system: Windows 8.1 x64
• Backend: rclone

Description

After setting up advanced options for the destination (rclone in this case), when going back to edit the job again those options are not displayed. Furthermore, if you make any changes to the job and save them, advanced destination options are lost.

Steps to reproduce

1. Create a job that uses rclone with advanced options, e.g. a custom path to the rclone executable.
2. Save the job and verify that it works.
3. Edit the job in the web UI. Notice that there are not advanced options shown on the "destination" screen.
4. Make a trivial change, e.g. add a new file to the source data, and save the job.
5. Verify that the advanced destination option you set has been lost.

In my case the loss of the custom rclone executable path resulted in a "file not found" error and no log being generated, making it difficult to debug.

  Advanced options retained.

For anyone still encountering this issue there is a forum post on the subject that provides a workaround.

Quick Summary: Create the job without any advanced options, save it, reopen then add the advanced options you want in step 5, they will now save as expected.

This can probably be closed.
