we have recently tested elabftw in an experimental campagin where multiple people had to edit one resource or experiment, which often messed up the edits of some people. Unfortunately, the "edit warning" was not very reliable as well. I have read that it is difficult to include synchronous editing (as discussed in #3969) but I wanted to ask / suggest if it would be possible ot have a "single edit" mode, which prevents anyone from editing a resource / experiment as long as anyone is already in "edit" mode, also stating what user is currently editing. Of course this is not the optimal solution and can cause other issues but it prevents any loss of information.
Thank you very much!
