This is a great idea. I hope we can also import from various files for work that has already been started, such as .bblx files, .odt/.docx files?? and also export to those files as well, maybe also pdfs? Perhaps we can also edit the linear versions/glosses already in files?

Unrelated: an appimage of the software would still be more useful than docker images, or web based stuff which is hard (and huge) for relative noobs like me, who work offline very often.

Here is an idea related to this enhancement from the 1500s! "1587 Biblia Hebraicorum. [The Hebrew Bible, Part III]. Ezekiel 23:16-29, Printed by Johannes Saxonus, Hamburg, Germany.
From the First Edition Elias Hutter’s multi-volume printing of the Hebrew Bible. He used two forms of type [for students]: a solid letter for the root and a hollow letter for the prefixes and suffixes"
