In case anyone is looking for cascading dropdowns in custom activities, I just wrote this SO answer.

WRT to Invoke workflows programmatically, my project ElsaSandbox is something I created to work out how to do it, however simplistic

I am writing a set of articles on it that I was going to send to CodeProject unless you have a better idea where it could go.

Nice @dammitjanet! I think CodeProject makes a lot of sense for writing technical articles involving code.
Also, please feel free to add a link to it to elsa-workflows/elsa-documentation#31 - we want to collect community driven resources to help others find their way to them.
