Thanks for starting up the convo!

For context: the xds conformance test suite works by running a set of tests against a management server that is integrated with the test suite's adapter api. The harness assumes the target is a working server with an accessible port, and that it's built a gRPC adapter server, also with an accessible port. We have an example go-control-plane implementation in our repo.

How would this fit into GCP's testing setup, do you think? Maybe some job that builds a gcp server + adapter off the latest code changes, and then runs the conformance suite against that?
