ESLint cannot find files in tsconfig

npm version: v9.5.1
Local ESLint version: v8.56.0 (Currently used)
Global ESLint version: Not found
Operating System: darwin 23.0.0

This is my flat config for the ts plugin:

      parserOptions: {
        project: './tsconfig.json',

];

My ./tsconfig is like this:

with ./tsconfig.src.json like this:

}

I'm getting this error, so presumably ESLint is struggling to interpret the tsconfig correctly. Worth noting that this is a migration from old config to flat config, and the tsconfig works fine in the old version.

However, that TSConfig does not include this file. Either:
- Change ESLint's list of included files to not include this file
- Change that TSConfig to include this file
- Create a new TSConfig that includes this file and include it in your parserOptions.project

Hi @andyjessop, this error is coming from typescript-eslint a plugin that is not maintained by the ESLint team. Please consult the maintainers there for more help.

Note: typescript-eslint does not at the moment support flat configs officially (tracking issue).
