I'm using the vscode-eslint for Visual Studio Code and this extension uses http://json.schemastore.org/eslintrc to validate .eslintrc files. However, this file hasn't been updated with the ignorePatterns option (introduced with ESLint v6.7.0, more particularly this PR) and the extension throws an error and doesn't run.

Does changing http://json.schemastore.org/eslintrc falls under your control? Can you do something about it?
