I'd like to go over some of the open RFCs to see if we can agree to move forward with them or close them:

  1. Now that Config File Simplification rfcs#9 has been merged, I'd like to suggest we close New: Load configs and plugins relative to where they're referenced rfcs#5, New: Load plugins relative to the configs that reference them rfcs#14, New: Array Config rfcs#21, and New: Object support in extends, parser, plugins, and processor rfcs#54. These all have to do with changing how configuration works, and given that we're heading in a new direction, it seems that we should be able to close these.
  2. There are several RFCs for parallel linting: New: added draft for async/parallel proposal rfcs#4, New: Lint files in parallel rfcs#11, and feat: Lint files in parallel if many files exist rfcs#42. None of these take into account the new configuration system or the ESLint class. As feat: Lint files in parallel if many files exist rfcs#42 is the most recent, we could decide to leave that open and close the others, or close all three depending on @mysticatea's interest in updating his RFC.
