Creating this issue to keep track of the improvements that are essential to produce a thesis that works both in HTML and PDF. I'll add things along the way if they are essential (or make a minor category for nice-to-have things).
(This issue is also meant as a reminder to myself if/when to defect to LaTeX export in time for handing in my thesis).
