Running Chrome 62.0.3202.94 on MacOS 10.13.1, I am seeing strange SVG loading behavior. Here's a jsfiddle that illustrates it:

https://jsfiddle.net/karcass/cb1utxwm/

If you change the HTML to include 1.7.20, it works as expected.
If you change the HTML to include 2.0.0-rc3, you can only see the upper-right corner, at 8x scale.

I looked at my SVG contents, and they are very simple.

Works correctly in Safari.

My email is mark.maxham@gmail.com, if that doesn't come with the bug report.

is a new load image url bug. Can you please move the topic on fabric.js/issues?

Moved. Sorry, I filed here because I followed the "report bugs" link from http://fabricjs.com/.
