How are you using Legend?

Legend Pure IDE

What problems are you trying to solve?

Implement monaco-editor styled logger (not terminal), and have a simple tokenizer for syntax highlighting (refer to VSCode output log format, highlight 2023-01-19 23:21:20.016 [info] Using git "2.37.0 (Apple Git-136)" from "/usr/bin/git", highlight timestamp, log level and string for example) - #273 - #1651

This potentially can be used for Studio and Query as well

Related to #273

  • REFACTOR Modularize xterm out, create TerminalPlugin just like LoggerPlugin, we can have a strategy that is just plain text, XTerm implementation can be at legend-extension-terminal-xterm, note that we must provide a fallback mechanism, and we render a list of terminal, but for initial round, in the terminal service, we can just pick the first one and add a TODO to support switching between terminals
