Let's avoid clutter and restrict github issues to only bugs and feature requests.
Everything else should go into the new forums now at https://github.com/flatpickr/flatpickr/discussions

Excellent suggestion!

If any of the maintainers would be up for it, it would be great to go through open issues, close and move them to discussions.
Use the issue template (https://docs.github.com/en/communities/using-templates-to-encourage-useful-issues-and-pull-requests/configuring-issue-templates-for-your-repository) to create pre-defined options, that deflect most stuff to discussions.

You could set it up like this (example):

"I have a question about how to use flatpicker" [make this a link to discussions]
"I have a problem using flatpicker" [make this a link to discussions]
"I have a feature suggestion" [make this a link to discussion]
"I have created a failing test case for a bug" [allow this to create a new issue]
