React | How to trigger validation on dismissal

Hello, IM trying to implement custom radio select popover. I have a main input when where its clicked/focused it opens the popup. Popup has a three option radio button group where first option has children with two separate inputs that can update the main input.
I want to trigger validation of the main input onBlur but I have a problem when inside the popup I click one of the two sub inputs the main input loses focus and when I click outside the main input onBlur is not triggered and validation doesn't happen in this case.

Ahhhh, I love it. Once I post a question I find the solution....

outsidePress on the useDismiss is the fix <3
