Lazy popup interface has keymap conflict with plugin, can I specify that a plugin only load in after the Lazy popup window has closed?

1. I have plugin that sets a keymap in it's config function (specifically Leap, with its S keymap)
2. Everything is working fine
3. I add a plugin to Lazy
4. I restart nvim
5. Lazy automatically installs the new plugin at startup
6. Keymap conflict error message. S is now default "substitute line" behavior.
7. Restart nvim again
8. Everything is working fine

Calling :Lazy update after a normal startup seems to not encounter this issue.

I'm assuming there's some sort of standard "only load this plugin after auto updates" option that I don't know about, which is why I'm posting this in discussions instead of bugs.
