What happened?

When you click the "Add Shape from controlled Walls" button a second time (with the Walls layer activated), all fields on the Identity tab are reverted to their last saved value (or the default state), discarding any unsaved changes.

What ways of accessing Foundry can you encounter this issue in?

  • Native App (Electron)
  • Chrome
  • Firefox
  • Safari
  • Other

Reproduction Steps

  1. In a clean DND5E world, create 4 connected walls in the shape of a square
  2. Activate the Scene Regions layer
  3. Create an empty Scene Region
  4. Activate it, then change every value in the Identity tab from the default state (do not save)
  5. In the Shapes tab, add a Shape from the controlled walls you created
  6. Tab back to the Identity tab

The values that you entered are all cleared back to their default state.

What core version are you reporting this for?

12.322 (latest Dev) DND5E 3.1.2
