Hi,

I really appreciate the features provided by this project, but there's a few things that have landed since the last release in 2022/03/24 and I was wondering if there's a planned date for the next release so we can consume them from the official source.

Are there a set of tickets you're looking to close out before calling it good, or is the plan just cutting a new release with what is there now?

Thanks!

I'm also expecting PRs created by Dependabot to be merged as well (especially for k8s client-go).

If anything, I maintain the fork with more or less up-to-date fixes I find across the github for my internal needs here: https://github.com/navvis-dev/terraform-provider-kubectl.
Feel free to pull and build yourself.

As far as I can tell, the repository owner has been hired by Netflix. Feel free to correct me.

Hey, @gavinbunney can you grant somebody permissions to maintain this repository?
If anything, you can count on me.

@gavinbunney please, give some attention to this repo! It is quite popular, many parties rely on it

@alekc also has a fork.

As a module author it's really painful to move provider so we're currently stuck on this outdated version. Given the pain of migrating a provider if we're looking at restarting development on this provider elsewhere I think it either needs to be owned by Hashicorp directly (I don't think this is likely), an organisation created specifically for this, or an existing organisation (kubernetes-sigs anyone?).
