I had this problem today. Everything look good then it suddenly failed to display the packet screen.
Quit and re-launch termshark does not help.
Re-install termshark does not help either.

Is there a way to recover this ?

I've a related issue.
The packet details disappear sometimes after clicking on the expand (+) button in the packet details list.
Only happens when a capture is being done, not when opening an existing pcap file.

I am running 2.4.0 on Debain unstable with XTerm(390).
