Though I can't understand then all yet. The SQL planning piece is a monster.
So if anyone is kind of enough, can help with some information.
Exactly how we use index in a JOIN situation? Do we have any strategy explanation document?
Any rule based or cost based optimization? Can I plug in my own rule or cost info?
Compare to SQL server or Oracle, in the sake of SQL query, what is our weakness? as I see this code seems quite complete, what else we can do to make it comparable to SQL server or Oracle? :-)
Thanks,
this will greatly help me study the code, thanks.
