There are several papers that describe intelligent estimation of blood glucose level using wristband PPG signal and physiological parameters

APIs exist in smartwatches to allow for PPG data to be retrieved although these are not exposed as default part of the software that ships with the smartwatch.

Anyone want to create an app for a smartwatch that you can install on any smartwatch to estimate blood glucose levels?
