In the vikunja frontend, I see the tasks that are close to the due date first and in the desktop app the tasks are the other way around, the farthest ones first. Is there a reason for this?

This was changed recently. What version of the desktop app are you using? What version of the frontend?

Frontend: 0.18.1(In the desktop app but 0.18.2 in the web frontend)
Desktop: Vikunja Desktop-0.18.1.rpm
Oh probably in the 0.18.2 is with the correct order...

I think that's not yet released, but the unstable version should have the fix

The unstable version is with some changes, but the fronted still 0.18.1 with other numbers, so the tasks still in different order. Witch confuses using the web version and the desktop app at the same time.

Are you using unstable on the web frontend and the desktop client?

Web: Stable. 0.18.2 .
Desktop: Unstable. 0.18.1+1172-e855728a3e.

The desktop is independent of the frontend - if you want to use unstable in the web as well you'll have to update the frontend to unstable.

I didn't understand your point. This issue is about why the desktop frontend is more "backward" and with different oders that from the web. You told me that the unstable version should fix it, I replied that unfortunately no and the order still the old one. As I understood from the beginning you were only talking about the desktop version, the web version is fine and with a new order.

I'm not quite sure, from what I understood you updated the desktop app and were confused why the frontend in the browser still used the old version - hence my explanation about the independence of frontend and the desktop app.

You initially said the order was different between the desktop client and the web frontend? And you're running different versions of the desktop and frontend?

Just to make sure, the versions you posted are reported from the "about" dialogue in the user menu?

Isn't the desktop that is with the old version? Since it's 0.18.1. Yep for the two questions.
